Teen Training Clinics

Four people riding horses in an outdoor riding arena with a sandy surface, wooden fence, trees, and a partly cloudy sky.

Adult Summer Training Clinics are drop in weekly times

to learn how to train horses

Open to any adult who is interested in learning more about horses.

*Participants are welcome to trailer a horse into Training Clinics or work with one of ours.

The calendar of what skill will be covered each week will be released in the spring, so that participants can sign up for the specific weeks that appeal to them (whether that is one week, some, or all.)

Each week will include:

-An hour of ground work, body work, or care (ex: lunging, massage, liberty leading, saddle fit, etc).

-An hour of riding (can be opted out of, which reduces the cost). The focus of the hour will be on training, relating to the groundwork skill for that week (ex: if we are focusing on lunging as our groundwork skill, we may focus our ride on 20 meter circles at each gait, getting a soft, correct bend, etc. If we are focused on bodywork, we may focus our riding on how to relax or engage specific muscles, etc).
